Enrolment process & Fees
Enrolment - We welcome your interest in our school and invite you to contact us for more information.
Our pre-enrolment process is as follows:
Download our Student Enrolment Application form & complete for each proposed student.
Attach a copy of each of the following:
- birth certificate,
- immunisation record,
- most recent school report, and
- any medical assessment.
Submit documentation to the school office. This will start the process of your application for enrolment being assessed, which also includes an interview and school tour. For more detailed information please see our Enrolment Process document.
Fees - Circular Head Christian School operates under a policy to maintain fully inclusive School Tuition fees. The fees cover a range of items such as stationery & equipment, learn to swim, text books, local school excursions, computer usage, academic competitions, performances & sports days.
Our fee structure can be found in the Enrolment Process document (see link above).
Fourth and subsequent children in families are tuition fee free. To calculate the total family tuition fee, add amounts for individual students in their appropriate section of the school.
Major excursions whilst subsidised by the school, will attract an extra charge. We aim to advise what this extra charge is at the start of the school year depending upon which major excursion is due that year. All school excursions are compulsory for each student.
Fee payment - Tuition fees will be invoiced at the start of each term. A discount of 4% is provided where fees are paid in February for the year, or if each School Terms account is paid within 30 days of the invoice.
Uniform is to be paid when purchased by cash/eftpos or by the Qkr! app.
Our preferred method of payment is by credit card or direct debit, but BPay, Eftpos & cash are also available. At no time should the fee account fall into arrears.
Families experiencing significant changes to income that may cause difficulty in paying school fees should speak with the Business Manager or Finance Officer as soon as possible. Our goal is that no child should miss out on education at CHCS because of financial hardship. Together we can work out a plan that is manageable for individual families.
Interest will be charged on overdue accounts, unless alternate arrangements have been made with the finance team.
Fee deposit - The fee deposit is a one-off payment for all new students. This fee deposit is for half a school term (5 weeks tuition) and is payable on acceptance of your student’s enrolment. This deposit credited to your account when your last child completes their education with the school or if withdrawing the enrolment 5 weeks school term notice is provided.
Enrolment withdrawal - When your student is finishing with the school, the notification of withdrawal is to be in writing and the school needs to be aware of the proposed educational institution that your child will be attending.
A Student Withdrawal of Enrolment form needs to be lodged with the school, preferably 5 weeks prior to the withdrawal.
