Year 10-12 Fiji Mission Trip - 10-14 nights
Mission - Mission is part of looking out for others, to love our neighbour, being able to serve, to make a difference in the lives of others. We encourage all our students to have this attitude.
Fiji – During the college years of school, students are able to apply to attend the annual mission trip to Fiji. Our school has a sister relationship with Nakelo District School, a small rural school in Nausori, Fiji, where we are able to support their staff and students.
Students & the school family endeavour to fundraise, so that funds are available to make a difference whilst the group is in Fiji.
This support has been evidenced by
-
Our teachers sharing teacher resources & methodology
-
Families of the school & wider community donating needed library books, computers, goods & materials, which were then shipped in a container to Fiji
-
Our students, along with our staff, conducting a Science Expo at the school, demonstrating several science experiments to the Fiji students & their community. This has now become an annual event.
-
Our personnel working with the Fiji community to build & renovate areas of their school
